Wunderman came to us to help them realize this truck wrap for the U.S. Navy. You might see it at recruitment events across the country, loaded with Oculus VR setups and a jet cockpit flight sim.
At 16,000 pixels across, rendering took some work. External references were a huge help with scene responsiveness (almost 300 million polys in GL). The sea used displacement maps. Wakes and jet plumes were done in Photoshop.
