This is a reduced version of a map of India. I used high-res landsat color imagery and a grey scale height map of the region and bathymetry. Modo has given me an amazingly versitile tool to create digital maps that literally pop off the page. This is one small part of more than 1200 illustrations done for a geology textbook for McGraw-Hill.
