Done in Modo 902 with poly modelling, rounded edges and the Bools Kit from ylaz. Wonderful combination for fast modeling. Compositing and color correction in Photoshop. Texturing is a global solid projection and the decals are just planar Z. So its very easy. No UVs in this case. Love modo;)
