Little fun series I'm running at the moment, to remake Studio Ghibli films in glorious 3D.

This is the second remake I've done so far, reimagining the enchanting Totoro, Satsuki and Mei. Some have mentioned on instagram how terrifying Totoro is (But in a good way, ha), I tend to agree. Recreating 2D characters into the 3D world with realistic lighting makes thing TOO REAL, whereas the original anime softens the edges and leaves most to the imagination.

I could of kept these remakes more inline with the original, but they not about that in my eyes. They're more leaning towards adding my own style as well as the exploration into what these scenes could portray with a modern language.

Hope to see this as a reality some day, but for now, I'll settle for my recreation!
