This image was created for Danmarks Naturfredningsforening, a conservation agency here in Copenhagen, Denmark.
It depicts an overgrown Danish Parliment, and each politician on returning from the summer recess, received a framed copy. It's aim was to remind the members of the importance of funding conservation projects.
Workflow-wise this was a photographic / CG combination where we composited a number 3D models into the scene. Creating a dummy scene allowed us to correctly light the scene, and we used Fredrik Widman's fantastic Trophism plugin to generate ivy growth over parts of the furniture.
It's possible to buy A2 prints of the image, with the proceeds going to conservation projects:
