Project info
This character bust is based on a character from the Green Lantern comics published by DC Comics. It looked like a fun sculpting exercise to me and I centainly learned a lot from working on it. Obviously the rights of the character belong to DC Comics. I created it purely for fun and to train my digital sculpting skills.
It started in modo401 with the modeling of the basemesh. I then switched to ZBrush for all the details. Finally all is brought back to modo501 for rendering.
This image was actually a test to try out the new Depth Of Field and Lens Distortion features in modo 501. Which by the way are very cool! I only added a slight levels adjustment in post.
