This image of a Cartridge Bearing is straight out of modo 501 (no post processing has been applied) and is a by-product of some lighting tests that I conducted.

The materials are slightly modified versions of the PAD presets, by Yazan Malkosh, that are available from the Luxology store and the model was lit using an HDR Environment also designed by Yazan.

The brushed metal/anisotropy detail was created using 501's improved/new bump mapping. The direction of the brushing detail was controlled via an UV map.
