The Pentax Optio S4 was famous for being small enough to fit in an Altoids tin. The specification looks laughable these days but had always intended to model and render one of these for the beautiful detail and finish. The body was all aluminium with a sharp machined finish on parts of the front and back. All modelling was done in Modo, using a mix of booleans and subds but no mesh fusion. I used Slik 2 to light, which is fast becoming my favourite lighting tool. I hope we see it saved and integrated into Modo. I used some substance source textures in addition to making my own. Rendering is with V-ray Next and no post work.
