Preeminent historian in the Supermarine company, author Ralph Pegram again honoured me by asking if I would provide cover artwork for one of his books.
This is the proposed Type 347, which later became the Seagull ASR. Here depicted in it's original intention as a carrier amphibian having spotted a Japanese sub in the Pacific theatre, 1945.
Modelled and textured with Modo 15 and rendered with Preview. Phil Stopford's excellent implementation of the aaOcean displacement plugin for the rolling waves.
